Signup for personal use:
as a life researcher, you will have a data management system integrated with BioMolyzer, a molecular analysis tool,
todo lists, and a personal blog. You can join a lab/group anytime as you like.
Signup for a Lab/group:
you must be a Pricipal Invesitgator (PI) for the Lab/group. You will have a lab management system,
including lab operation, data management, funds management. After signup, you can add lab members
and asign roles to each of them. Each lab member will have his own password in order to use your
lab resources. Each lab memeber will also have all services that who registered for personal use has.
Since some graphcis (plasmid maps, gel simulations, etc.) in this site are
Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), we strongly suggest to use browsers that natively support SVG,
such as Firefox,

About BioRubyRails
What?
BioRubyRails (Bio-Ruby-Rails) is a web-based service dedicated to life scientists. It was developed in Ruby programming language and its associated technology Ruby on Rails.
It features a lab management system -including lab operations (member management, noticing, messaging, todos), fund management, and research data management integrated with a molecular analysis tool, BioMolyzer, for primer design, primer-target-mapping, plasmid mapping, gel simulation, digestion analysis, ORF analysis, virtual cloning, etc.
It also includes a blog system, BioBlog, and a communication platform, OpenLab, for sharing resources between life researchers. A free job listing service also provided.
Who?
BioRubyRails is created and currently maintained by Qilong Xu, a molecular biologist.
